Description

metadin® soft offers a range of application options for consumers as well as for the automotive industry and other sectors. The materials have the tactile effect of soft-touch processing, which allows the basic product to stand out clearly in the end product. This feature can be further enhanced by colouring or adding metallic or other effects and thus providing the end product with eye-catching designs of high clarity.

Coextrusion makes it possible, in principle, to combine the different property profiles with one another. The sheets are made up of several layers. In coextrusion, the melt flows from several extruders are brought together in or behind a tool. There are different reasons for co-extrusion.

Technical data sheets are often not shown. Reference is made again and again to the starting materials, such as metadine (ABS) and metaester (ASA). It is advisable to clarify technical details in advance when inquiring about a specific product. Depending on the volume of the order, certain material properties can be determined by tests if there are no data sheets.
