Description

metapeek® is a high temperature plastic with excellent mechanical properties. Its areas of application are in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering as well as mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering.

Main features

• can be used continuously up to + 260° C and for a short time even up to + 300° C
• excellent mechanical properties even at high temperatures
• excellent chemical resistance
• resistance to hydrolysis above + 200° C
• excellent sliding properties
• electrically isolating even at high voltages

• resistant to high-energy radiation

Examples

Type el (electrically conductive):
Electrically conductive, high strength, suitability for semiconductor technology, electronics

Type mt (medical technology):
Hydrolysis-resistant, steam-sterilisable semi-finished product.
Meets biocompatibility requirements.
Suitability for medical technology.

Type ht (highly stressed parts):
Very high abrasion and wear resistance, high load-bearing capacity under static and dynamic loads, excellent chemical resistance.
