Transformation of thermoplastic semi-finished products

Thermoforming is the transformation of thermoplastic semi-finished products at higher temperatures into moulded parts.

The robust nature of deep drawing can be seen in various parameters:

• Possible processing dimensions. They determine whether products can be transformed in a single operation.
• Production of flawless surfaces. The surfaces should be free of bubbles and dust.
• Negative or positive moulding processes are just as conceivable as a combination of positive-negative moulding.

The technology of thermoforming makes it possible to produce individual finished parts in an economically viable manner, even with the smallest of series. With the help of vacuum forming technology, we are able to produce high quality products with low tool costs and the shortest of lead times. Reproducible processes can be economically implemented with our largely fully automatic deep-drawing systems and other machining centres. But we are also happy to attach metals or stickers. Modules for this area can also be often made with welding methods such as ultrasonic welding or extrusion welding
